GBM #6: Kain Tayo!

Week 2 of FAHM! 🇵🇭🍗

In this GBM, we played a game of Pabitin, then enjoyed some Jollibee and watched a movie! Not to mention the Freshman Representative was also revealed: congrats to Sophia Fontaine! Onto our game—Pabitin is also similar to a Piñata, where players reach up to grab some Filipino snacks from a Pabitin frame. Unfortunately the frame did not last past one round, it was violently torn apart immediately 😅. Seems like we should’ve made a more sturdy one! Luckily, E-board improvised by tying the snacks to the sticks from the frame and ran around the room while everyone tried to grab them! After that was the part of the GBM everyone has been waiting for: the Jollibee! Members were able to order a variety of items such as chicken, rice, and peach mango pie—so sarap! Everyone enjoyed their food while watching Forgotten Island, the amazing animated Filipino movie by Dreamworks. This was a relaxing meeting and served as a chill opportunity for members to bond with each other. From Pabitin to the Jollibee, this week’s GBM was very food filled and cultural for everyone to enjoy.

Salamat to everyone who stopped by and to everyone who ordered food! 🫂🇵🇭
