GBM #5: Sayaw & Sing!

Happy Filipino-American History Month! 🇵🇭🎆

Everyone really expressed their Filipino genes with some talented singing and dancing! Genboard was split into five teams each with names they came up with: Daniel Impala the Creator, Richard’s Team, Three-badoobee, Beat Blasters, and GGEZ. The room was filled with friendly (but heated) rivalry, laughter, and people running to steal the mic like their life depended on it. The first game was Finish the Lyric, where players were given a part of a song and the first one to run and grab the microphone from CJ had to sing the next lyrics of the song. Things got chaotic, but luckily no one was hurt! Song Association, the next game, was when players were given a word and the first one to steal the mic had to sing a real song associated that word in the lyrics—no made up songs! And to top off the GBM, some classic line dancing! Mia, Caleb, and Des guided the crowd with “September”, “Todo Todo”, and “Totoy Bibo”, everyone really got their cardio on!
