GBM #1: Welcome to Barkada!

The turnout for the first GBM of the year was amazing! Both fresh and familiar faces came in eager to learn more about BKAD and play some games with us. We announced Caleb for winning the Spring Feedback Form raffle and then spun a wheel to select our Involvement Fair Raffle Winner, Karen! Congratulations to them! ✨ When everyone walked in, they were sorted into Filipino food-related teams: Adobros, Sini-gang, Ubaes, Halo-Hotties, and Spamilya.

We played Silent Sort, where teams had to line up according to special prompt and aim for first place. Then, we played Boom Boom Balut (basically hot potato) with egg plushies. After poaching his opponents, Richard emerged victorious and won points for his team Ubaes! We ended the games with a classic Filipino party game, Bring Me! Adriel announced an item, and the first one to sit in the center chair with said item in their hands would win. Simple enough, right? That is, until everyone is wrestling each other for the spot! In the end, Adobros accumulated the most points and crushed the competition! I hope everyone had fun meeting each other! ✶⋆.˚
