To celebrate 17 years of Barkada, we’re happy to announce that this year, we'll be bringing back the "gift of opportunity" by gifting the Barkada Award to now two of our members, chosen by our very own TCNJ Barkada Alumni. Supporting this award is an amazing opportunity for alumni to give back to a club that has shaped their college experience and for current members to help Barkada grow as well.

• Mar 24, 2024 - Applications Form Closed

• Mar 25, 2024 to Mar 31, 2024 - Award Committee Removes Bias

• Mar 31, 2024 to Apr 14, 2024 - Selection Committee Reviews Applications

• April 27, 2024 - Award Winners Announced at Pistahan

• The applicant must be currently enrolled as a student at TCNJ.

• The applicant must submit a resume.

• The applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA. This should be included in the resume.

• The applicant must currently be an active member of Barkada in AT LEAST ONE of the following ways:

  • Attended 1/2 of 2023-2024 general body meetings

  • Was Act Leader/Choreographer/Dancer of Tinikling and Maglalatik in 2023-2024

  • Volunteered at one 2023-2024 Barkada Event, including but not limited to Barangay, Terhune, etc.

• In 500 words maximum answer one of the following questions:

  • How has Barkada made an impact on your life?

  • How will you help contribute to Barkada’s growth in the future?

• The essay should follow the formatting guidelines:

  • 1-inch border

  • 12 size font, Times New Roman, Double-Spaced
